THey are a very well rounded company that can help you with many aspects of your business’s IT needs.
This company does not offer any type of uptime guarantee that I have been able to find. On the other hand, I haven’t seen anyone complaining about excessive downtime or other similar issues so the chances are they are going to provide you with a good overall hosting experience with few service interruptions or slowdowns. When I look at the hardware they are using and the data center they are in, it all points to a good level of service.
The web hosting features are pretty good, but not exceptional. They have limits of 1 gig of disk space on the entry level and 15 gigs of data transfer. This is good enough for most people, but still lower than many others offer. Their email services are limited to 20 accounts, and 20 megs of disk space for each one.
When you look at the other features, such as brand security and managed accounts, you can get a good deal quite easily. These are options that most other companies don’t even provide, so this is a good thing. If you need these types of services, this company can provide you with them as well as good hosting to make it easier to manage your IT services.
The support with this company seems to be good. They are easy to get in touch with through email or a phone number, and they respond quickly when you reach out to them. From what I could gather, they seem skilled enough to handle most any issue you run into, which is nice. I didn’t find any type of knowledgebase or FAQ or anything like that to provide self-help information.
The prices are fairly reasonable here. One issue is that they want you to pay for a year in advance for several of their packages. This is annoying for many people, especially those just starting out. When you move up to higher level hosting packages it is more expensive, but you do have the option to pay month to money. Their lowest cost plan is $8 per month (paid annually) and that isn’t too bad of a price when you look at the features you get.
The hosting with this company does seem to be fairly good, but not anything out of the ordinary. They are based in New York, which is nice for many people. The company is really focused primarily on their brand security services, so that is something that you should keep in mind when shopping around. If you need this type of service, using them for hosting too is a great idea. If you just need hosting, this company will get the job done but it isn’t as much of an obvious choice.
