The 24/7 live chat has saved me many times and is always very helpful. I wish the domain hosting were included in the reseller so I could set up the domains for clients more easily. Would be nice to be able to invoice clients directly from the reseller account or at least have multiple credit cards for payments from clients. The free SSL is great considering how much others charge. But it is a nuisance to constantly have to regenerate the certifications. This is the 4th hosting provider I have used in 5 years. So far have stayed the longest with them. After the big name ones, this customer service is a dream come true.

Always extremely fast and polite service. I have never had to call over the phone, no matter what time of day/night. Chat sessions start almost instantly. Representatives are knowledgeable and able to resolve and problems or questions I have right then and there. The only thing is if something that requires time, like domain transfers, which they make very easy by just filling out a simple form and it is taken care of ASAP. By contrast, I had purchase two other hosting accounts with domain names through Arvixe (which used to be considered one of the best). It's been a year, my hosting accounts are active but I cannot use them because they never registered the domains to me. One has been purchased already, the other is still available. Chat session take longer than 90 minutes to start. Still no resolution. I could go on for days about Arvixe, but that is for another review. Just wanted to write something to compare to Greengeeks. If I ever get my money back from Arvixe, it is going straight to Greengeeks for my hosting needs.

I loved the idea of powering my site with green energy and did everything I could to try to keep my site at Green Geeks. My site was hacked 4 times over the past several months while being hosted with Green Geeks and my developer has done everything he could do working with Green Geeks to remedy the situation. Green Geeks tried to sell me additional products of theirs to remedy this situation which I believe shouldn't be necessary to keep a basic site up and running. I spent many hundreds of dollars to fix the hacks and have my site back up and running. When I decided to move my site to another host because my site continued to get hacked with GreenGeek's hosting and because of Green Geeks poor customer service around the hacks (just telling me to fix it but not telling me how), I decided to transfer my site to another server who had experienced other customers having similar problems with GreenGeeks. GreenGeeks refused to refund my money and wouldn't respond to my emails of explanations of why I was cancelling with anything but their cancellation policy. I would understand and comply with the cancellation policy IF it was my fault but it's their service that is the reason I have to cancel. The woman on the phone told me they've never bent for anyone... even a woman who'd husband who died had paid ahead 3 years on his site - that's something to be proud of as a company? Hmmm... They may be green but not super conscious.
