AdvanceHost.com.br is a hosting company in Brazil that was founded in 2004. Over the last decade, they’ve grown significantly in Brazil (which is one of the fastest growing markets in the world), and have gathered enormous experience in running web hosts, making them more affordable and reliable over time. They have shared web hosting accounts and audio streaming accounts, as well as reseller options for both, and those are their primary areas of focus.
They offer a 100% uptime guarantee on hosting and audio streaming services, while saying their server mitigates damages to prevent compromising it. Full control panel in Portuguese, no mention of if you can switch the language but I imagine you could. AdvanceHost has since built quite a large customer base, with most legitimate reviews online being primarily positive. They have multiple support medians and strong servers to ensure a quality experience.
Their shared hosting packages are extremely affordable, starting at dirt cheap prices. In addition, all bandwidth is unlimited, regardless of what plan you get. I think that some of their higher end plans are not worth the price difference, as the only main difference between them is disk space (ranging from 1GB to 1TB). All of their shared data centers are located in the US, and run on an Intel Xeon 2.50 GHz CPU with 32GB of memory. In addition, they come with standard cPanel installed on the CloudLinux operation system. They also have reseller plans that are similarly priced (cheap to begin with, but they become a little more expensive), with disk space capped (25GB to 600GB depending on the plan).
If you’re interested in the audio side of things, they have AAC/MP3 streaming plans based in the U.S., and they’re currently working on adding MP3 streaming based in Brazil. Their current AAC plans limit listeners from 50 to unlimited and different on quality (anywhere from 48 to 128kbps). Bandwidth going in and out is also unlimited, and AutoDJ disk space is capped anywhere from 10 to 80GB, depending on your plan. They even have reseller plans to sell audio, with unlimited steams offered, and even a reseller plan that has unlimited listeners. All reseller plans use 128kbps audio and include a minimum of 120gb disk space. Their audio servers are extremely high quality, with an easy to use control panel (with even a mobile version), which means they are easily one of the top providers in Brazil.
In addition to a business hours support line, they have a sales live-chat, a real-time server status page, as well as a pretty large FAQ/knowledgebase. They offer 24/7 support through their ticket system as well, though that seems to be their biggest complaint I’ve seen. They don’t take long to respond, but it will take a few hours if it’s outside of business hours to get a reply.
To start off in reverse, if you purchase a reseller audio plan from them, you currently get 50% off your first invoice. The plans start at R$29.99 ($14.99) per month, go all the way up to R$249.99($129.99) for the unlimited plan. Just normal streaming plans are much cheaper, starting at only R$1.99 per month ($0.99 USD). That plan, capped at 48kbps and only including 50 listeners, is pretty terrible. Their best plan includes 1000 concurrent listeners, 128kbps audio for only R$19.99 ($9.99 USD per month). If you want unlimited everything (with 80gb AutoDJ space), it will cost R$39.99 monthly, or $19.99 USD.
Their cheap shared hosting plans only costs R$5.00 per month, which is less than 2 bucks USD. It may only have 1GB of disk space, but unlimited traffic is very nice. They mention nothing regarding add-on domains, but I assume they are unlimited on all plans. I recommend the 2nd or 3rd plan, costing R$9.99 or $R19.99 ($4 or $7.50) respectively, while having 50 and 100GB of disk space each, which I think is plenty, especially for the price. The unlimited plan they offer is extremely expensive, running for R$99.99 ($37).
AdvanceHost has grown over the years to become a leading provider of shared web servers and streaming services in Brazil. They use high quality infrastructure yet have pretty low prices for the most part. I’m not a fan of some of their highest packages, as they raise the price too much for them. I do like their reseller accounts though, especially on the audio side. Overall I’d say they’re a good company if you’re looking for reliable, cheap hosting.
