Easy to use & great support
Small but Effective Hosting
Miss Hosting is a smaller web hosting provider that is dedicated to giving their customers a great overall experience. They have nine full time employees plus a few support staff to cover the off hours. Despite the small number of people working for the company, they are available 24/7 and appear to work very hard to ensure you are getting the high level of service you require for running your website.
The site is well designed and easy to use. You can find everything you need with just a few clicks. In addition, they provide a lot of good information about their company, about the owners, about their services and more. In addition to shared, VPS and dedicated web hosting they also provide domain name registration services.
Uptime & Reliability
Hosting Appears Very Stable
From what I have been able to find, you don’t get an uptime guarantee with this company. Despite that, however, it is very likely that you will have a good stable experience at all times. They use only brand name hardware and everything is housed in a nice data center with redundant power and network connections. Looking at what people have been saying about this hosting provider, it seems very likely that you won’t experience any unexpected downtime.
Nicely Configured Hosting Packages
When looking at the hosting they provide you will have quite a few options. To start with, you will have three packages for shared hosting. You get unlimited bandwidth on all of the packages at this level, which is a great feature. The entry level package limits you to 1 website and the mid-tier option is 10 sites. If you opt for the ‘ultimate’ shared hosting, you can have unlimited websites on your account. All of the packages come with redundant storage to help minimize any down time or other issues.
When you move up to the VPS solution you will see that there are five options. These are all fairly low cost VPS solutions, through some of them are powerful enough to run even mid to large size sites. The entry level VPS solution provides just 512 megs of RAM and a single CPU core. You do get 20 gigs of SSD space though and 1 TB of bandwidth. The highest end VPS solution includes 8 GB of RAM, 4 CPU Cores, 80 gigs of SSD and 5 TB of bandwidth. For the price, these are all fairly nice VPS solutions.
The dedicated servers come in three sizes. They all use Intel processors with the entry level package getting a Pentium G3450 3.4 GHz 2 Core CPU. The higher two get Xeon processors with 4 or 6 cores. For RAM you will get 4-16 gigs, which is enough to run most types of sites. You also get the option of either RAID 0 or RAID 1 configuration for your storage.
Easy to Reach Tech Support
The tech support team is on site 24/7 to help you with any trouble you are having. They are experienced with web hosting and will be able to fix just about any issue you end up having. Fortunately, most people don’t really run into any problems from the hosting side so this is not something you will likely need to use.
Low Cost Hosting Solution
The hosting at all the levels is at or below what you would expect to pay with other companies. The basic shared package runs just $1.25 per month and it only goes up to $3.75 for the highest end choice. Move up to the VPS solutions and the prices range from $5 per month up to $80. This is quite a big range, but the specs on the packages are also going to move up quickly so it is a reasonable deal. Finally, the dedicated servers start at $145 per month and go up to $245. These aren’t the best deals around but for the level of hardware and other features you are getting, it is not a rip off either.
Very Friendly & Easy to Use
As with most types of small companies, this one is great at providing you customer service and easy to use features. Their site is laid out in a way that is very simple to understand and the staff is there for you whenever you need them. The tech support team is easy to get in touch with and also very helpful. To put it simply, this company is really a very user friendly option to consider.
Small Company with Big Services
If you are running any site that is considered anywhere from very small to fairly large, this is a good company to consider. Many people love the fact that they are such a small company because it not only helps to support small businesses but it also gets you better overall service in many cases. Whatever your reasons, make sure you give this hosting provider a shot.
