For some time now I have been trying to reach out to Net4India for some of my services and I am finding that the Company seems to have gone silent on customer interactions.
I have observed technical glitches because of which repeated demands are being raised for renewal of domain names even after they have been renewed leading to double payments which we never know will be reversed.
It is possible that this is not a technical glitch but actually an attempt to defraud the customers.
If any domain name expires without being renewed because of the inefficiency or attempt to extract double payments on renewal, then Net4India will be liable for compensation arising out of loss of domain name and consequent denial of access.
As a Company responsible for such denial of access Net4India will be liable under Section 43 and 66 of ITA 2000/8 and its Directors and executives will be liable under Section 85.
I have personally tried to reach out to the Director and Senior officials of the Company but no one seems to respond. The Help desk number is not picked up the customer relations officer is not responding to e-mails.
Last but most significant is that the e-mail legal@net4.com remains unresponsive.
When the legal department does not respond to a charge of possible fraud, it means some thing is seriously wrong with the company.
Net4 India has a huge stake in customer records and thousands of Indian websites run on their domain name/E_mail services or hosted in their servers. Many of the Government websites are running on the server certificates issued by Net4india and probably even hosted on its servers.
Under such circumstances, if Net4India as a company goes down, there will be a serious Cyber Issue in the country.
I am placing this national Cyber Security concern in the public space so that if any person in Delhi has any personal contact with Net4India, they can try to get confirmation on my apprehension that the Company may be in the process of winding up its operations either in full or partly.
I also request TRAI and CERT-IN to look into the reasons why Net4India remains unresponsive and if the public interest is threatened.

I lost 2 domains because of Net4's incompetent employees. There was no response from the team and the only email I received was from a support staff who assured me the domain renewal is on track. But just the next day I found the domains had been taken over by other parties. I lost ownership because their staff is negligent, callous, and extremely incompetent. These people should be ashamed of taking salaries and not doing their job. I moved all my other domains and email to another registrar immediately. Then I called up their Heads of Departments by searching for their names on LinkedIn and asking one of my friends working in a recruitment agency to dig out their numbers. I blasted them and submitted a written complaint.
Do not go with Net4. A company is not its walls and furniture; a company is its people. And if the people are incompetent, the company is incompetent. Ergo, Net4 is incompetent. The other reviews are spot on. Read them all and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration.

I have been trying to get the little support I need from Net4India on my domain name (changing NS record, changing A record, hosting a website on purchased space etc.). I have received ZERO support from them. Web pages are not working where I have to change the settings. Customer care doesn't pick the phone. Support tickets not answered for the past 20 days. Unimaginable that this kind of companies exist in today's cut throat competition. My emails are not working for the past one month because of Net4's worst service and I can't host my website. My domain is also locked with them and they are not answering my request to unlock it so that I can move it elsewhere. Don't know what to do. Do I have to approach the police or a court? Can't I give them a ranking of Zero? Your ranking system doesn't allow that.

I have had my account (000598975) with them for last 10 years for domain, but they have exponentially degraded tried contacting support no response either to email or phone. Requested auth code for domain, the admin page says it would be sent, almost a week now no response. Raised helpdesk ticket no response. Tried calling phone doesn't go.

A Customer of NET4India since long but now they are accepting orders / payments but no response, no reply in whatsoever manner. Completely a fraud company. Cheating crores of people with advance payments without any services. In this crucial time we are unable to transfer the domains, not able to update DNS. DON'T take services of NET4INDIA

I renewed my domain registration for 10 more years and they made a mistake and put the domain in clientHold status. I contacted them over all possible means but they did not respond, now our beloved online business is no more because website no longer opens.
